The Malawi Cancer Consortium, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and UNC Project Malawi, is organizing the 6^th Annual Malawi Cancer Symposium (MCS 2024), which will take place from September 4-5, 2024. The 6^th Annual MCS 2024 theme follows the global theme for World Cancer, which is to “Close the Care Gap, recognize the power of working together in the fight against cancer.” The symposium will provide a platform for both local and international cancer research, care and advocacy stakeholders to exchange information, highlight strategic priorities and identify opportunities for collaboration, personal development, and training with the common goal of reducing the burden of cancer in Malawi. Therefore, the 6^th Annual MCS 2024, calls upon interested participants to submit abstracts to showcase their cancer-related work.

Scope

Risk factors, burden, surveillance, screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow up care, survivorship and palliative care, outcomes and training in cancer, HIV or non-HIV associated.
