Join us for the 5th Annual Malawi Cancer Symposium
6-7 September | Lilongwe, MalawiThis year’s theme follows the global theme for World Cancer, which is to “Close the Care Gap,” with a focus on “uniting our voices and taking action.” The symposium will provide a platform for both local and international cancer research, care and advocacy stakeholders to exchange information, highlight strategic priorities and identify opportunities for collaboration, personal development, and training with the common goal of reducing the burden of cancer in Malawi.
The symposium is jointly provided by UNC Project Malawi and the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the UNC Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center
The 5th Annual MCS 2023, called upon interested participants to submit abstracts to showcase their cancer-related work. The submission window has closed.
Call for abstracts open: Monday, 5th June 2023
Deadline for abstract submission: Friday, 14th July 2023
Notice of abstract acceptance: Monday, 31st July 2023
Registration open: Tuesday, 1st August 2023
