Joshua Gazzetta, DO, is a surgeon at St. Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City. Dr. Gazetta will complete his research “Assessment of Emergency Laparotomy Outcomes among patients in Lusaka, Zambia: A Prospective, Observational Study” at UNC Global Project Zambia under the mentorship of Drs. Chance Spaulding, Kent Stevens, and Emmanuel Makasa.
