Erika Gazzetta, MD, MPH, received her MPH from the University of South Florida, MD from The Ohio State University and completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Following her clinical training, she joined the Global Women’s Health Division. Through her research, she hopes to improve maternal health outcomes through clinical and public health initiatives in resource-constrained settings. Currently based in Kansas City, Erika will move to Lusaka in 2024 to support the implementation of a pilot study on AI-assisted portable ultrasounds.
