She is the Director of Nursing at UNC Project Malawi and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UNC School of Nursing in Chapel Hill. She is a qualified Malawian Nurse Midwife with a PhD in Midwifery obtained in 2015 at City University, London. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Sheffield University, UK and MPH in Advanced Public Health methods from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. She has over 15 years of experience conducting research on HIV, sexual and reproductive health, and public health in developing countries.
