The Institute has two platforms for knowledge exchange that promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and personal and professional growth for attendees: the Friday Conference Series and the PAUSE Seminar Series. Both events take place on Fridays from 9:15 am – 10:15am.
Antimicrobial resistance, or AMR, is a global health crisis that threatens advances made in all aspects of modern medicine including complex surgical procedures, transplantation, and cancer treatment. PAUSE Seminars are monthly lectures on topics related to antimicrobial resistance.
The Annual Global Health Scholar’s Symposium is a half-day event that showcases research from students, fellows and faculty around the world. This event is co-sponsored by the Gillings School of Global Public Health, and is usually held during the month of February.
