Title: “The role of community health workers (CWH) in facilitating disclosure among HIV sero-discordant couples (HSDC) in Nakaseke district, Uganda”

Program Objectives:

Hypothesis: Use of CHWs will increase HIV disclosure among HSDC, leading to an increased number of HSDC who know their HIV status

Aim 1: To determine the predictors of non-disclosure among HIV sero-discordant couples (HSDC)

Aim 2: To document perceptions of sero-discordant individuals on using community Health workers(CHWs) to facilitate their HIV status disclosure

Aim 3: To explore CHW’s general knowledge and attitudes about HIV status disclosure among HSDC

Aim 4: To determine the proportion of HIV status disclosure among HSDC that can be achieved using CHWs
