Dr. Luo is a surgery resident at Tulane University School of Medicine. She will complete her research project “Assessing and Addressing Excess Neonatal Mortality in the Surgical Setting at a Tertiary Hospital in Malawi: A Mixed Methods Study” at UNC Project-Malawi under the mentorship of Drs. Anthony Charles, Lindsey Wolf, and Nandi Bip.
