Project Objectives: To longitudinally compare HEU to HU infants on (i) growth, (ii) neurodevelopment, and (iii) incidences of diarrhoea & pneumonia; (2) to identify antenatal and early life nutritional predictors of these outcomes; and (3) to examine whether these vary by maternal HIV status, with specific reference to duration and type of breastfeeding, and maternal micronutrient status.
