Title: Genetic characterization of Norovirus in children younger than 5 Years old with and without diarrhea, and relationship with clinical severity in a Peruvian Hospital

Project Objectives: Determine the correlation of norovirus variants, as defined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and genotyping, with severity of infection. The hypothesis is that specific variants of norovirus infection are associated with the presence or severity of diarrhea.
