Title: The Impact of Syphilis Testing on HIV Testing Conducted Among Pregnant Women during the First Prenatal Visit

Project Objectives:

Hypothesis: Among pregnant women, we hypothesize that syphilis screenings obtained during the first prenatal visit is associated with HIV screenings.

Aim 1: To analyze the association between obtaining syphilis testing during first prenatal visit and HIV screening.

Hypothesis: We hypothesize that women who are married, multipara, and literate will be more likely to participate in both HIV and syphilis screening tests during the first prenatal visit.

Aim 2: To compare the characteristics of women who do not participate versus participate in both HIV and syphilis screening tests during the first prenatal visit.
