Title: The efficacy of cough measuring accelerometers to prognosticate active pulmonary tuberculosis in HIV patients in Lima, Peru

Project Objectives:  

Aim 1: To improve diagnostic and prognostic tools for TB in HIV patients with low-cost reusable devices;

Aim 1a: Evaluate the efficacy of a cough accelerometer as a TB prognostication device in the outpatient setting.

Aim 1b: Assess the acceptability and usability of the device by TB patients in the outpatient setting.
