Dr. Hussein is a Surgical Resident at Inova Fairfax Hospital. She will complete her research project Feasibility of a Text-Message Triage System for Post-Operative Complications for Pediatric Surgical Patients in Malawi at UNC Project-Malawi under the mentorship of Drs. Anthony Charles, Lindsey Wolf, and Bip Nandi.
