Title: “Performance of a novel recombinase polymerase amplification-based diagnostic test for tuberculosis meningitis in patients with HIV in a resource-limited, high-incidence setting”
Program Objectives:
Aim 1. Determine the sensitivity and specificity of a recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA)-based test for the diagnosis of tuberculous meningitis and pulmonary TB in patients with HIV.
Aim 2. Identify predictors of tuberculous meningitis in patients with HIV presenting with neurologic symptoms and create a clinical prediction score for TBM.
