Issa-Boube is a medical student at Morehouse School of Medicine. She will complete her research project “Characterization of the Supply and Demand Gap of Allogeneic Packed Red Blood Cells in Surgical Patients with Anemia, and the Effect of Anemia on Surgical Mortality” at UNC Project-Malawi under the mentorship of Drs. Anthony Charles and Charles Mabedi.
