About
With over 30 years of experience teaching nursing in the US and Canada, Dr. Woodley is a distinguished COIL practitioner. She and her colleagues have successfully integrated COIL into a required pediatric nursing course, benefiting over 800 undergraduate nursing students from the US and Brazil over the past three years. Additionally, she spearheaded an international grant initiative that established ongoing VE between the Schools of Nursing at UNC-Chapel Hill and Western Norway University. Dr. Woodley’s research employs quantitative and qualitative methodologies, focusing on innovative and inclusive educational practices in nursing education. She serves as a UNC-Chapel Hill COIL Faculty Fellow and COIL Campus Champion, frequently presenting COIL initiatives at national and international conferences.
