About
Dr. Rosengren is an infectious diseases physician and epidemiologist with a background in grassroots environmental activism and nonprofit leadership. Her research and clinical interests are centered on marginalized populations, particularly sexual and gender minoritized (SGM) adolescent and young adults of color. In her role as the Diversity Champion for the Infectious Diseases Division and a member of the Department of Medicine’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) council, she works to address structural and institutional inequities to improve the professional lives of the Underrepresented in Medicine (URM) community. She is also passionate about enhancing the cultural competence of physicians in caring for SGM populations.
