Dr. Vallejos is a postdoctoral fellow at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. She will complete her research project Detection of Mycobacterial DNA and Monitoring of Pyrazinamide Resistance Genes in Sewage from Districts with the Highest and lowest Tuberculosis Prevalence in Lima using qPCR, Targeted Metagenomic and Epidemiological Analysis at UPCH, Peru under the mentorship of Drs. Mirko Zimic and Richard Oberhelman.
