About
Dr. Stringer focuses on developing and evaluating new technologies to improve obstetrical outcomes in resource constrained settings. He co-founded and led the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ), living in Lusaka, Zambia between 2001 and 2012. Dr. Stringer has served as PI for over $270 million in grant and contract funding for research, training, and clinical implementation, and is currently funded by the NIH and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is the author of approximately 300 scientific articles.
