About

Dr. Luz Reyes is an associate research professor in the Department of Health Behavior. Dr. Reyes’ research focuses on understanding and promoting mental health and wellbeing during the early life-course. The two focal areas of her current program of research are: (1) identifying how sensitive periods and environmental factors-such as exposure to  violence-impact the emergence of mental health disorders, and (2) the development and evaluation of interventions to prevent violence and foster positive youth development.
