Dr. Malamba-Banda is a laboratory director at UNC Project-Malawi. She will complete her research project “Comparative Analysis of Immune Restoration Kinetics Following Antiretroviral Therapy Initiation in People Living With HIV in the U.S. and Malawi, at UNC Project-Malawi under the mentorship of Drs. Nilu Goonetileke and Kristina De Paris.
