About
Dr. Brownlee is a surgical pathologist with expertise in GI/liver and global pathology. She is engaged in human and laboratory capacity strengthening to support diagnostic services for clinical care and research purposes in low- and middle-income countries. She hopes to help expand diagnostic services and advance care of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreaticobiliary malignancies in Malawi through collaborative translational and implementation studies supported by the UNC Project-Malawi Cancer Program.
