Join us for the 4th Annual Malawi Cancer Symposium

19-20 September | Lilongwe, Malawi

This year’s theme is Integrating research and care to improve cancer outcomes. Key stakeholders were invited to present on issues related to cancer strategy, care, advocacy and research in Malawi, including current challenges, future priorities and opportunities to work together across organizations. Though initiatives to improve the lives, care and outcomes for those living with cancer in Malawi are growing, the burden of cancer in Malawi continues to be a major public health concern.

The symposium is jointly provided by UNC Project Malawi and the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the UNC Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center
