Dr. Sarah Joseph is a virologist and evolutionary biologist with extensive experience examining HIV-1 evolution in the CNS and the establishment of long-lived HIV-1 reservoirs. She received a Ph.D. in evolutionary genetics from the University of Texas at Austin. She is now an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina where she has faculty appointments in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology, UNC HIV Cure Center and Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Bioinformatics 1131 and Hybrid.
