Maria Abad, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Her research investigates the immunology of dengue infection and vaccination, focusing on how differences in antibody responses can influence both protection and risk of disease, with the goal of informing safer and more effective vaccine design.
