Title: Exploring Partnership Predictors of Treatment as Prevention
Project Objectives:
Aim 1: Assess whether HIV-infected persons who receive couples HCT display better linkage to care than persons who receive individual HCT.
Aim 2: Assess whether HIV-infected persons who initiate treatment following couples HCT display better retention and adherence than HIV-infected persons who initiate treatment following individual HCT.
Aim 3: Among HIV-infected persons who receive individual HCT:
- assess whether disclosure of HIV status to a sex partner is associated with better linkage to care, retention, and treatment adherence.
- explore whether knowing the HIV status of a sex partner is associated with better linkage to care, retention, and treatment adherence.
