Title: “Evaluating the Malaria Treatment Cascade in Kinshasa Provence, DRC”

Program Objectives: The aim of this study is to assess the malaria treatment cascade at three sites in Kinshasa Province, DRC. Specifically, we will measure different points along the malaria treatment continuum to assess malaria diagnosis and treatment practices, such as seeking treatment early, receiving a confirmatory diagnosis, adherence to test results and receiving the recommend antimalarial treatment. Data is also collected on health worker malaria education, patient socio-economic status, malaria knowledge and current prevention practices, which may be modifiable barriers or facilitators for malaria treatment in this population.
