Title: Bacterial Antimicrobial Resistance Patterns in Pune, India

Project Objectives:

  1. To describe the antimicrobial resistance patterns of blood-borne pathogens and the risk factors for drug-resistant bacteremia among patients admitted with acute febrile illness;
  2. To describe the etiologies of acute febrile illness and the associated clinical outcomes among admitted patients and
  3. To evaluate antimicrobial usage and optimization of treatment.
