UNC-Chapel Hill is active in more than 100 countries worldwide, over half of which involve global health-related projects.
As part of a comprehensive strategy for globalizing the university, UNC leadership has identified Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia (especially China) as targeted areas for growth.
Accordingly, the Institute for Global Health & Infectious Diseases is focused on building partnerships and programs in these three geographic regions.
