Description: Jackie Kemigshia, founder of the Girls-Awake Foundation, will tell her story about living positively with HIV and her work advocating for human rights and HIV prevention.
Don Holzworth, executive-in-residence at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, will introduce Jackie. Holzworth will also speak about his work with Accordia Global Health Foundation and how Jackie inspired him to start a scholarship program to help young adults in the HIV clinic at the Infectious Disease Institute in Kampala, Uganda.
